Car trashed... Options?

Me four. When I looked at the pics I was surprised that you called the
interior,
"trashed". This wasn't much worse than when my '85 GTi was broken into.
One other suggestion is to clean out the rest of the interior, then do was
Kent
suggested. Anyone looking in the car will have a clear idea that there is
nothing
in the car, and move on. It's unfortunate that older Audi/VW's have the rep
of being
easy to break into with (for their time) decent stereos. It's apparent that
these
thieves didn't know one of the supposed easy routes into the cars (we don't
call
'em Team Doorhandle for nuthin') and instead chose the louder route of the
side
window. On my GTi, it was the little "vent" window on the front door.
