Repairing cracked alloys

Check in the Yellow Pages under "Aluminium" and find a shop that does
welding.  I had a cracked wheel repaired this way a few years ago for
something like $30.  Welding aluminium is a special skill, I'm told, make
sure the guys know what they are doing.
