Timing Belt 101 88 80Q (how much sheet metal do you remove?)

When I did mine (89 90q) I removed the grille, bumper, trim between the
bumper and grill and the cross member that goes across the front behind the
bumber and also the core support. After that I removed the aux radiator and
had full access to the front of the engine. It sounds like a lot of work
but it really isn't and it makes doing the belts easy as pie (yeah, right).
I also took the opportunity to do the oil seals (cam and crank), the water
pump and thermostat as well as the aux. belts (A/C, alternator, and PS).

I know what to do once I see the front of the motor. But compared to my 4KQ

it looks like there is a lot less room between the grille and engine to work

with. If you have done a belt on the 80/90 just how much of the front end
had
to go?
I know this car has had two belts replaced before and the hood latch
support
still has original paint on the screws and was not removed, maybe just the
grille and aux radiator. Could also require the removal of the bumper.
If you can tell me what you have done or head me toward a link, it would be

appreciated.
Thanks, Jim
