15yr old audi 80 avant tdi

chip it to 120bhp with monster torque (350 euros)
thrash it
mate in uk had 1.6 passat tdi
serviced as per book (germans are much more fussy
about that than brits)
changed the block at 450K miles cos the bores were
getting a bit large.
1.9 tdi available 'over here' so parts shouldn't be a
problem.
will definitely see an improvement to mileage
for well under 20k
