As a former list moderator myself, I agree with Brett.  Put the survey on a
survey site and link to it.  Conducting a survey on a mailing list not only
is a really inexact way to do it, it defeats the purpose of survey sites
that are set up for exactly that reason and, assuming your survey is popular
(which I'm thinking you want it to be in order to get a representative
sample) it would needlessly clog up the traffic on Audifans.  There may be
things that Brett and I disagree on out here in meatspace, but he's right on
the money about this issue as far as the Q-List is concerned.  Quit whining
and telling everyone you're going to "take your marbles and go home."

Sheesh.
