You are not supposed to mix - ala the law. But it would work fine if it was.
Hey guys - lighten up on this matter. What professional refrigeration
specialists do should be monitored and done by the book. IMO more Freon has
been dumped by folks due to this law than if a more sensible law had been
passed that enables one to do this more economically.
Think about it.

Hi,
Sorry for the top post. The ES web site FAQ says it's "illegal"(in the US)
to mix one refrigerant with another; yet I presume I could buy it for use
in the US. What am I missing here?
Sounds a little too good to be true.
