NAC: Stainless brake lines on a street car?

The StopTech stage 2 kit I recently got for my 2003 Infiniti G35 came with
StopTech staineless lines for all 4 corners. But I've heard some say
stainless braided lines are dangerous for street use. SOmething about
getting grit in the braid and it acting like sandpaper and wearing out the
internal rubber line. So, for now I didnt install them, just the rotors and
pads. Should I just stick with the stock rubber lines and sell off the
stainless over on the G35 forums? Or are they okay and others are blowing
things out of proportion? BTW, I LOVE the StopTech slotted rotors and Axxis
Ultimate carbon-ceramic pad it came with. :)
