Coolant hoses - ever had one fail?

I just replaced mine last year since I thought it would be a good thing
to do and the old hoses at 19 years and 140K miles looked as new as the
new ones.

However, I have had to deal with catastrophic coolant hose due to a hose
failure on my (then) 5 year old Chevy. The hose just blew out the side
at a weak spot.
