Low oil pressure issue

Yup, viscosity in the key here.

When I first changed the oil on my new-to-me QSW in
2002 with 157K, I decided to go with what I thought
would be the best for it: Mobil 1 synthetic, can't
remember the grade, though.

Anyway, when I started the engine, it sounded like an
orchestra of old-fashioned coffee pots or boiling
water kettles.

I went back to the store, in a different car of
course, and bought Castrol 20W50, which is what the
previous owner used in the engine.

Changed the oil again and started up engine and it
sounded nice and smooth.

Subsequently, I used different brands with the same
grade including Valvoline, Quaker, ect., but engine
prefers Castro still, so that's all it gets.

Separately, Cody, I’m glad you got back to where your
knowledge is most appreciated and utilized. You’re an
honest person and great guy to work with and people,
especially customers see that when they take their
cars to you.

BTW, did any Camaros came by that Ford Quick for an
oil change while you were there???

I heard Mr. Lawyer, what’s his name, was looking for
ya at former Black Forrest to see if you could do a
tranny conversion on his red race car because he
recently learned how to drive a stick shift and heard
it could become a bit quicker
..hahahahaa

Plus he also wanted the addition of a turbo along with
all sorta cooling lines and mist sprayers with fans
for custom IC
.heeeheeee.

John told him that he could do all of that but what’s
his face said “Noooo, F Off!!!, I want Cody for the
job, money is no object!!”

hahahaha
just kidding.

-Regards,

Louis
