Even the "experts" get it wrong-Audi hydraulic brake boost system misunderstood yet again

It's one thing when a nub shows  up here on the list and gets the  
hydraulic system, especially the brake boost related portions, mixed  
up with the actual brake circuit. What I can't believe, is that an  
"expert" who writes ASE training books has it wrong as well. Check  
out pages 64 and 65 of this otherwise pretty decent book http://

What I don't get is why people keep referring to green gold (Pentosin  
CHF 7.1/11s) as brake fluid when it is really another type of power  
steering fluid or more generally a hydraulic system fluid. Other than  
the different fluid spec, Audi's system is functionally identical to  
the GM Hydroboost used on their diesel engine vehicles and the  
similar system used in 5 and 7 series BMWs.
