old fuel pumps

Agreed.  I left a 5ktCS and a vw Quatum (4000 wannabe)
sitting for extended periods (years)...both fuel pumps
ran and fed the engine with gas when the car was
parked.  Neither did when I gave the cars away.

Perhaps it is corrosion, good old fashion rust.  Never
had the inclination to figure out why they quit, after
all, I gave the cars away.
