200t woodgrain removal

Since I have last communicated with the list (nearly a month ago,) I have
picked up an 89 200t and a 91 100 (Other Audi cars I have are a 90 200t and
a 82 CGT.) I have already fixed a blown head gasket on the 89 200t and am
now in the process of replacing various good interior bits from the 100
into the semi-thrashed interior of the 200. My I have already replaced a
window regulator and power mirror (in one fell swoop of changing out the
entire inside portion of the door - who would've thought it was possible,)
changed the door panels, and would like to replace the center woodgrain
strip. I have removed the bolts on the end of the 91 100's wood (and
removed the drivers's side piece, but can't get the center section to
release. Anyone know the trick?

The transmission for the 100 is in the trunk (and in many pieces,) so I
think later this year I want to put the 130 hp engine into my 82
Coupe. I'll have more questions on this later.
