Airbag removal

Disconnect battery. Remove covers behind steering wheel and disconnect red connector (has a foam sleeve around it). Use a T30 Torx driver to remove the two bolts on back side of steering wheel (bolts may actual stay captured within the steering wheel). Remove airbag.
But first I'd check to see why steering wheel is crooked. Maybe somebody did a very poor alignment job. You can easily correct for it by adjusting the tie rods. Just remember to offset the other side by an equal number of turns, but in the opposite direction, so as not to affect the toe setting.
