Airbag removal

This could be a mistake.  There are relationships between the clock spring 
mechanism, the shaft, and the wheel that can get out of whack and end in a 
REAL problem.  If the wheel's not far out of line, adjust it with the tie 
rods, like the alignment guys are SUPPOSED to do.  To answer your question, 
though, the procedure is clearly spelled out in the Bentley manual.  John
