Sounds to me like a battery that is starting to show it's age. Old
batterys still work a little though, I bet if you get a trickle charger,
it'll fix all these problems, or like, get a new battery.

Check and make sure it is actually charging properly with a multimeter
accross the battery terminals first then hunt for a drain, is it alarmed
by any chance.
