Rebates (ZAC)

For the record, I have had phenomenal success with rebates from Staples.

They have a nice system to submit rebates online using the information on
the rebate receipt they automatically print when you purchase an item with
a rebate at the store.  You do not have to send anything to them.  They
email you a confirmation when they get the receipt into their system and
they update you by email when the snail mail the check.  You can also check
the status of your rebate submissions online if you are prone to
impatience.  Turn around time is generally relatively fast.

Some of the rebates are ridiculously good too - like your item is free
after a manufacturer's rebate and a Staples rebate combined.

In the past several years I have probably received 20 to 30 rebates through
Staples without any delays or shenanigans.

MAC - I often drive one of my Audis when I go to Staples and my Avant is
particularly handy for hauling larger purchases.

Oh, and like many others here I really appreciate the selfless
contributions of the list admins.
