I'm not sure on either.
I would guess that its more dangerous now, since the strongest point
(corrugated) is now deformed and very narrow. This means, I think, that
forces will not be straight up and down on it, and therefore it could
begin to fold sideways.
If you straighten it, it will be better, but it will not likely be
truly straight, and any temper to the metal will now have been worked
twice.
