Hmm..On a road trip to Texas a few years back, got my doors blown off
by a tractor doin easily 90. I was in a SAAB 900 N/A doin 65. A few
miles down the road, the tractor was in the median on it's side in a
huge cloud of dust and debris..I slowed down to 50 while I dialed 911
for him...

On a recent trip through New Mexico, between Las Vegas and Raton, I
came
upon a trio of semis, closely grouped, that I was barely closing on at
95-100. When I finally came close enough to decide to pass, I ended up
at
about 110 to finally get by them. I have no idea if they were loaded
or not.
Two years earlier, descending from Kingman west into California, I saw
close
to 100 while I was barely passing semis on that long downhill.
Last Thanksgiving returning east from LA towing a Uhaul, I was
repeatedly
passed by these behemoths who were doing a good bit more than 80.
