Hybrids

Check the Consumer Reports 2006 Car issue...you'll see that even after 10 years of ownership...hybrids cost more than the equivelent gas car. Not worth the capital outlay, even at $3.00 per gallon for gas.

Hi Audifans:
 
Its been a while. Unfortunately I am still Audi-less ;-) but still check  the 
list every now and then and see that most of you guys are still here. I  
tried to check the website for an answer to this question but didn't really get  
anywhere. 
 
I am wondering if Audi is planning a hybrid for the near future (in this  
country). If so, I'm sure you've all been talking about this already (sorry to  
bring it up again). 
 
I am definitely looking toward an Audi some time in the future and  thinking 
that maybe a hybrid car is the way to go with the gas situation being  what it 
is.
