Audi200 turbo.Hard to start when engine is hot.

I started experiencing no start problem, having changed out my auotmatic transmission unit. The genesis of the starting problem began a day after I changed out my Audi200 turbo transmission unit. Having driven a distance of 25km, and parked, engine refused to start.I left the vehicle for a while,after which, the engine started.Ignition coil was suspected but coil seems ok, having checked coil resistance. Now, the car no longer starts. Any suggestion/s that will enable me to get the car back on the road shall be appreciated.
