First make sure the child lock feature isn't engaged. I know, sounds
obvious but check it anyway. The regulators/motors on the type 44 always
seem to have at least one more push in them, try slamming the door a few
times, hit the switch while banging on the bottom of the door panel, you
can also try and slide the window briskly up and down while someone else
plays with the switch. These techniques have worked for me on many
occasions when the windows of the type 44's in the fleet have stopped in
the down position (ALWAYS with inclement weather on the way.) If you
don't get any results, you'll have to pop off the door panel, slip the
e-clip off the bottom of glass and shore it up with a piece of 2x4 or
something till you get around to fixing it.
