smog test

My 86 4kq w/ 155,000 miles had a heck of time getting
thru PA emissions test with high CO problems.  I have
a CO analyzer and as the var idled you could see the
readings drift way up, then way down.  Supposedly
these Audi's are known for this.

I had an aircooled VW van and used to put some
denatured alcohol in the gas and used to pass all the
time.
