How to fix odometer on 200tq?

Hi listers,
I was not able to find anything on how to fix odometer in the 200tq '89
instrument cluster.    It looks to me as common problem as odometer
stopped working on my  both 200tq  almost at the same time (within 3
months).   I took once the cluster apart to fix speedometer but don't
remember how  odometer works.   Any pointers to common problems?
 
Also,  after  more that a year of not searching audifans.com   I found
that the search does not brings much as before.  Was anything changed?
