Thanks for the compliments!  I ended up going the way I did mostly because 
of the "no money" aspect, but also because I replaced the 5000t hood with a 
V8 hood and couldn't bear cutting into the hood.  That and the thought of 
snow wafting into the cold engine bay during the winter....I hear that's not 
so much of an issue for you ;-)  The M3 fender vents would have been my 
second choice, but I like the look of the finished 5ktq with a V8 hood, 200 
(flush handled) doors, V8 cast C-pillar covers, 100 extruded (not 5k glued) 
roof trim, V8 trunk & tails with a 4000q spoiler - it has a real streamlined 
look.
