Talking to an Audi rep, and Diesels in the US

What I don't understand is why this wasn't mandated by the government
sooner.  Better fuel economy for passenger cars and cleaner emissions for
commercial vehicles seems a win-win to me.  Probably some cost invovled in
getting things on line for this, but that should be a fairly minor matter of
logistics in getting the new fuel into the pipeline, figuratively and
literally.

I look forward to an A8 TDI in a couple years.  Hell, I've been looking at
350SDL's on eBay lately.  Save me!
