Or you could do what a friend of mine did (and taught me) a few years ago 
as much of the info for our Alfas is available on CD: he bought a cheap 
laptop to keep in his garage. I'm still in the 20th century and lack the 
funds for a dedicated garage laptop/high speed interenet, etc., but at 
least I have a phone jack out there so I can surf at 56Kbps...
