Apropos of the kid who didn't recognize a 5K: Be of good cheer! One of the 
local baristas who steams up my peppermint hot chocolate is keen on 
buying a 5KTQ. While he made the mistake of calling my '88 80 a 90, and 
even worse wondered what was wrong with my idle (he hadn't had experience 
with a sporty cam) he is to be forgiven for his enthusiasm.

If we can turn these kids around before they start putting coffee cans on 
Japanese imports, there's hope for the future of our older European 
cars. 

Now some of the thinking kids are even thinking beyond this. The son of 
one of my friends snagged a 90Q 20V and he wants to unload it for a 
biodiesel Golf.
