which is exactly what i said. but adding 1" all the way arond the tire
is [imo/ime] not going to cause an issue.
my summer tires are more than an inch larger than the stock size and
i'm lowered on neuspeed sports with grooved bilsteins set all the way
down with no rubbing. hell there are guys with 19's on slammed a+s4's
with minimal rubbing.
on the FITTMENT question, i imagine he'd be ok.
the TRACTION issue is another matter - obviously narower is better,
but im on 225/50 and my a4 in the snow is like spiderman on flypaper
in july.
