Breather hose failure- I guarantee you will know it, at least under  
load.

Bonnie Royal's 90q20v blew the hose at the track and she gave me a  
ride for a session.  We lasted about 5-10 minutes before our eyes  
were watering+burning.  This was with the CC off and front windows  
down, doing over-highway speeds...ie, lots of fresh air coming in.

The smell/burning was VERY strong under full throttle, when blow-by  
is strongest.
