the grill

The RS6 owners are probably dumping them en masse to get to the latest and
greatest after their lease is up - it happens often with the "top of the
line cars" - there's more of a used market for the lower models that have a
more plentiful roster of mods and spare parts (both used and new) available.
I hear the maintenance schedule is hell - I wouldn't want one of those cars.
As to the styling, some like it, others don't. Every time I see one of them
go by, I think back to all of the people complaining about ripping their
S4/A4 bumpers off on kerbs and the huge cost of replacing the plastic bits.
I'd hate to see how much a light tap on the front of those horsecollar
grilles would cost.
Cheers!

1987 Audi 5kTQ - with a V8 hood - almost horsecollar-ish
1980 Audi 5k - old boxy grille
1962 and '64 Auto Union DKW Junior deLuxes - shiny aluminum grille looks a
bit like a scowl - angry is cool, right?
