kind of Audi related - Passat 4Motion

Brandon,
We have an '02 Passat 4Motion GLX as a company car. This is really and Audi
Quattro with VW badging. Basically an A6 chassis (basically), and A6
driveline, including real (Torsen) Quattro. A little hungry on gas (V6 is
the only available option). It currently has approx. 160,000 (highway)
miles and has been dependable. I've had to replace the throttle body ($$$)
and radiator out of warranty. The suspension is a *little* tired, but the
Sales VP who drives it feels it's "great." Just like any Quattro, when the
suspension links/joints/a-arms wear, it's expensive. The only issue we've
has is the "woodgrain" GLX trim has become wrinkled in spots (it appears the
outer clear layer has shrunk due to heat/sun). Basically, any standard A6Q
issues with a less well made interior. That said, it's an amazing car for
160K.

Our next company car will likely be VW 2.0T (haldex) 4-motion (avant) wagon.
