If the body is pristine and you fixed everything it needs, it might be 
worth $1500-2000 - if you are willing to wait to find the right buyer 
for a 21 year old car.  If *everything* REALLY works, and you have 
perhaps some relayed euro lights and a decent, well installed stereo, it 
might fetch $3k.  Eventually.

Do you like your mechanic?  If so, let him/her have the car cheap, like, 
say, $500-800.  If he or she is not "special" to you, just put the car 
on the market and let him/her "bid" like any other buyer.

(I've ignored that fact that you appear to be in Alaska, which might 
affect these figures somewhat.)
