Ameer,

The "rebuilt" bomb was in fact not "rebuilt" but merely recharged 
(clearly stated in the information provided).  A bad check valve in the 
bomb could not have blown nor caused any damage to your pump.

Back pressure on the pump?  Are you aware how a hydraulic system works?  
The pump can only create pressure if there is back pressure.

There are hundreds if not thousands of Audi's out there with bad check 
valves in the bomb.  BRAND NEW bombs have been known to lose the check 
valve within months after installation.

It is possible the RECHARGED bomb may have lost its charge in which case 
I should have been notified.  You don't mention my name here and I 
appreciate that but most everyone knows that I am the only recharging 
these.  Get some facts straight before you bad-mouth my service.  The 
bomb could not have caused your pump to fail.  Your ignorance of how the 
system works is obvious.

over 50 bombs recharged by me with now 2 failed units using the same 
method as the previous recharging guy that did over 100 units...
