True about the sunglasses, but the 2nd Gen Porsche Design wristwatches were
actually quite good- one of the best 7750 movements done by a top-notch
watchmaker
(IWC), innovative bracelet design and titanium casing (very radical in the
'80s).
I have the successor to the Porsche Titan Chrono, 1st gen IWC GST Chrono-
very similar
lines, very legible, clean design (I do miss the red second hand), even
better bracelet design
and nitrided titanium case (similar Rockwell hardness to the Rado ceramics).
Kind of the
Porsche or Audi of watches.
