But Ed- some of the stuff that they sell is really cool. :-)
I think the braided stainless steel pen that evokes a stainless brake line
is pretty neat- made in Germany by Faber Castell for Porsche Design.
Looks nice, writes really nice, nice heft, great use for braided stainless.
The Porsche Design by IWC watches are actually quite nice and you're
arguably not going to find a nicer movement for the price.
It's not like driving a 10 yr. old car that is hard to get parts for, hard
to find
competent service for and rather rare is all that rational either. We don't
always
have to be all that practical- heck, disposal funds willing, I'd get an
UrS4/6 or
an UrS8 already.
