Cody,
Non-turbo I-5's...at least the WD-code one in my 1980 5k...will run just 
fine with the oil cap off.  Great way to apply a rustproofing coating if 
you're forgetful.  Doesn't your 5k noT noQ run without the cap?

1962 and '64 Auto Union DKW Junior deLuxes - oil cap has a dipstick on it 
(oil injection)
