How much in the way of amps?

The popular solution to the current draw issue is to either do dual
batteries or add caps or both.

Is 4 gauge sufficient? If you're running multiple amps, I think you'd want a
little bigger than that, run to a distribution block, then to the amps-
makes for cleaner wiring.

Back to the original question, Bosch makes up to 200A alternators, but the
larger output ones are liquid cooled (BMW 7 Series, MBZ S-Class and Audi
A8). Must make it fun to replace. Those big cars often have dual batteries
due to the electrical draw of the car's systems.
