Passat brakes update

What -exactly- did they say?  I'm sure it wasn't "your rotors aren't  
shiny".

Is that contrary to the warranty/service plan?  I know nothing about  
VWs in this regard, but around here, most dealers (Audi or not) do  
free "safety" inspections.  If you want to contest the charge, then  
ask them for a detailed writeup of what they did.

Well, on my 200, you have to work REALLY hard to get the pedal down  
anywhere near the clutch.

Don't tell the dealership they damaged the car, tell them you want  
them to FIX the damage they did to your car.
