That assumption is stretching things - most salvage yards won't mess 
with cars over about a dozen years old.

[One of] the reason[s] Chris Semple started Force Five was that his 
previous employer, an Audi/VW dismantler, didn't want to bother with 
cars from the 80's any more.

So, you might get lucky and turn something up, but if you don't, 
remember that anything can be shipped anywhere, and I'm sure Chris would 
be glad to sell you a front clip if he has or can get one.

You also might look at cheap/parts cars on the marketplace etc. as 
potential donors.  That way you also get a pile of spare parts.
