Clutch disc confusion

Not to help much, just to muddy the water - I think it will only work 
one way... well, of course, but I think that how the release bearing 
applies pressure will... no, never mind, that won't help...

Geez Kneale, couldn't you have looked at how the one you're replacing 
was set up?
