driver's door will not open (unlocked)

I do the knee thing too sometimes.

If you spray some lube into the door latch box on the end of the door,
that will free up the operation of both interior and exterior door
release handles considerably.

I first used some Teflon stuff but it didn't last.  Last week I used
silicone spray on one car and on another car, some "Duralube" spray
lube I've had for eons.  (I think it was one of those PTFE boondoggles
way back when.  Nevertheless it seems to work well, maybe only because
it's a bit thicker than 3-in-1 or other light oils and I haven't
ruined anything with it.
