driver's door will not open (unlocked)

To be honest there is only 2 things you can do.
Break the handle off the outside, not too bad as its cast aluminium, this is how the thieving gits got into my 90q. I think you shatter the bit around the lock barrel, then the handle is free to move and you can get to the mechanism.
Or cut open the door card. The handle would be the best approach I think as itll be easier for you to find a replacement, just be careful off the surrounding paintwork.
I suppose the only other thing would be to remove the rear panel and see if you could take the lock clip (bit fixed to the body) out by drilling the screws or such like..

Its on a CQ so no rear door.  The door panel overlaps the dash heavily 
in the front and overlaps the body heavily in the back.  The panel would 
have to be destroyed to remove it with the door shut.
