Parts needed fast

Bret is right, pins are simple to redrill - replace, and if ring gear is 
missing teeth that's not expensive to replace either, but yo have to 
establish which physical part hit the pin and the sensor to start with, 
and that needs opening the engine.
After that you'll know which step to take.
