Alldata vs. ETKA

Not even close!
ALLDATA is repair information licensed from OE sources
and processsed into a proprietary electronic format.
They have repair/parts info for most Models sold in
the US. It is sold on a subcription basis, primarily
to repair shops although individual Year/Make/Model
subscriptions are availible. Repair shop subscriptions
come with support from ALLDATA library for info that
is not on thier system, personal subscriptions do not.
ETKA is the VW/Audi Electronic Part Catalog 
Very complete and very useful but disc versions have
been replaced at dealerships with an online version.
The availible disc versions are not up to date but
none of my cars are up to date either.
The shop I worked for had both and they are both
useful.
