It's an exaggeration of slight negative rear camber in BMWs and  
such.  Apparently, there are even tires specifically made for it.

I believe they're going for the covered-flip-switch look that muscle  
cars used to have for nitrous systems.  That sort of "bomb release"  
feel to it...?
