gray market 1989 80

Hi,

Okay, I give up.  What's a gray market car?  One that hasn't been legally
imported into the US?  The prettiest BMW 635 you ever did see sat in the
workshop where I got some of my work done in Roseville, CA.  It couldn't be
modified to pass the California inspection including smog;  that's a gross
overview of what the garage owner told me.  

Be sure that you can pass the required inspections before you sink money
into it.
