A6 battery replacement Question: Radio code

I have to change the battery in the A6 today.  Its dying = 9 volts.

Can the radio show me its "code' before I disconnect the battery?
How do I do it?

I can plug in a battery jump gizmo into the cig lighter, so hopefully I won't 
loose the code..........................but you never know!
