Saw an Iltis today

Really cool Volkswagen (built by Bombardier in Canada) 4X4 military
vehicle and dirt cheap -- guy picked his up for $750 at an auction.
Designed by Audi for Volkswagen in the late 70s using 80/Golf/Beetle
parts/tech.  Later variants had a turbo diesel, etc.  Me thinks they'd
make a great bush beater.

Going to check out a gov. vehicle auction in Toronto on the 30th and
see if they have any.
