rear end clunk- any BTDT?

Usually the front trapezoidal arm bushings wear out, and can cause a
clunk. Thankfully they're quite cheap (if you buy just the bushings,
and don't by them already installed in the carrier) Also if the rear
trapezoidal arm bushing (the one the farthest towards the center of
the car) is torn at all, you should replace it too. Actually, if this
car has over 100k miles, I'd recommend replacing all of the
aforementioned bushings, on both sides. Remember that you can't
tighten the through bolts in the bushings until the car is on the
ground, or they'll tear in short order.
