Do I want an Optima?

Just an add on to the advice given already- if you're getting an Optima for
a car that just sits most of the time (weekend toy car), get a good,
computer controlled trickle charger. I got one from Eastwood (way cheaper to
get it from the Optima dealer in Wisconsin where I got my Optima), Battery
Tender Jr. It has a wall-wart that you plug in, removable plug with a ring
terminal for your battery. I keep it plugged in when it's parked, maintains
the battery at full charge, never had a problem starting the car since I've
had the tender.
I personally prefer Red Tops because I don't have a crazy stereo system in
the car and would rather have the cold weather cranking ability.
